Introduction

Zootrain seminars are a great way to get started with advertising on Google. In just three hours you'll learn about online advertising and how you can grow your business by making sure that when a potential customer searches on Google, they’re always able to find you. You don't need to know anything about Internet advertising before you start. The seminars are held in small groups so that everyone can have individual attention. Not only will you learn everything you need to know about advertising on Google, you'll leave with your ad campaign up and running.

Session 1

The Internet is a big place. Learning how your potential customers use it and how to get them to your site is critical to the success of your business. Google is the number one search engine in the UK and in this session you'll learn how people use it, with particular attention on how people search for products and services.

Session 2

AdWords is Google's name for its search advertising programme. Most people don't go beyond the first page of the search results so you need your website to appear there. Being on the first page of natural search is hard especially if your website is new or there are a lot of competitors. Look at Google's recommendations on how to improve your natural search listing.

You can however, quickly be on the first page of ads as long as you bid the correct amount for the keyword and have highly targeted ad copy that is relevant to the search encouraging the user to click on your ad.

The session explains the fundamentals of Google AdWords and how Google ranks ads.

Session 3

Once you've been taken through the ins and outs of Google AdWords, you'll set up your own Google AdWords account in an easy step-by-step process. During the set up you will be able to apply your free £30 Google AdWords Voucher*. You will see how your ad will appear on Google's sponsored links and will have a chance to review it. You'll also learn how quick and easy it is to change it, so that your online advertising can always be responsive to your business needs.

Time for a well-earned break and a chance to ask any questions you may have about areas covered

Session 4

Here you'll learn about further features of Google AdWords which can help your business like how to measure the effectiveness of your ads, how to test different versions to maximise your success and how to refine your targeting allowing you to focus your advertising on a smaller area such as a city.
